1st | Nevada Day Parade
Historic Downtown Carson City
The Nevada Day Parade has annually invited Silver State residents and those Battle Born at heart to come together on our state holiday and celebrate the founding of this great state on October 31, 1864.
1st – 30th | Dragon Lights Reno
Rancho San Rafael Park
In the Odyssey of Waves Zone, guests will be transported into a vibrant underwater world. This section showcases an array of marine life, including whales, corals, shrimp, crabs, and other sea creatures, all illuminated in dazzling colors to create a lively oceanic atmosphere.
1st – 30th | Magique – The Show of Shows
Nugget Casino Resort
Featuring a cast of 10, Magique is a whirlwind of excitement with over 20 grand illusions, 100+ elaborate handmade costumes, an epic soundtrack, and special effects galore.
6th – 8th | The Fern 45
Reno Fernley Raceway Park
The Fern 45 is a 45-mile off-road poker run and charity event. Participants ride ATVs, dirt bikes, or side-by-sides through a desert course, collecting poker cards at checkpoints. It’s a fun, family-friendly event that raises money for the Nevada Veterans Coalition.
7th | Chemistry of the Cocktail
Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum
Pack up and head out to The Discovery for giving and glamping at Chemistry of the Cocktail, the museum’s 13th annual fundraising event. Get cozy beneath a starry sky with alpine inspired cocktails, enjoy unique camping themed fare created by the experts at Blend, and take part in hands-on activities designed to bring the outdoors in—all while providing much-needed financial support for The Discovery, no tent or bug spray required!
9th | Veteran Appreciation Dinner
Dayton Valley Golf Club
This special evening is dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served our country and the families who have stood by their side. Veterans are invited to attend free of charge and may bring one guest to join them for a complimentary dinner.
13th | Avatar the Last Airbender in Concert
Grand Sierra Resort and Casino
The 20th Anniversary Tour of Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert combines a breathtaking live orchestral performance with a two-hour visual journey through fan-favorite moments from the animated series, all shown on a full-size cinema screen.
15th | EnduroCross
Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center
The AMA EnduroCross Championship is one of the wildest sports on two wheels. This extreme dirt bike racing event combines the challenging obstacles of an enduro into the tight confines of a fan-friendly stadium setting.
22nd | The Temptations and The Four Tops
Grand Sierra Resort and Casino
Get ready for a night of Motown magic as two legendary groups, The Temptations and The Four Tops, take the stage at the Grand Sierra Resort’s Grand Theatre — celebrating 40 years of performing together with their 40th Anniversary Tour.
27th | Scheels Turkey Trot

This year’s Turkey Trot will keep things cozy with a classic 2-mile stroll around the Marina, perfect for soaking up the views and holiday cheer. Feeling extra peppy? Go ahead and trot that extra mile… or four… by taking two more laps around the Marina.

Virginia City
Lasting the entire month of December, the historic Nevada mining town’s Christmas on the Comstock brings a Victorian-era holiday celebration alive with special events happening all over town.
2nd – 7th | Stereophonic
Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts
The most Tony Award-winning Show of the year. The most Tony Award-nominated Play of all time. Stereophonic mines the agony and the ecstasy of creation as it zooms in on a music studio in 1976.
4th – 6th | 39 North Pole Village
Victorian Square
This unique holiday festival features interactive art, nonstop live entertainment and hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights, a giant heated vendor tent, food trucks, Hot Chocolate Cottage playland, free train rides, free Santa photos & and endless amounts of holiday cheer.
4th – 7th | Tahoe Film Fest
Incline Village Cinema
The premiere section of the festival’s programming are environmental films. Tahoe Film Fest locates new and important environmental films to showcase as a way of educating our young people, and celebrating the efforts of everyone who helps to maintain the beauty of such a pristine lake and its surroundings.
5th – 6th | Sparks Hometowne Christmas Celebration
