3 New Instagram Feeds to Improve your Social Media Game

Finally!!! Instagram is bringing back the CHRONOLOGICAL feed! PLUS, a new FAVORITES option!! Woohoo, about time.
Soon, you’ll see a menu at the top of your main IG home screen with these options:
HOME – the standard feed we’ve known for a while, where the content is based on what the Insta algo’s think you’ll be interested in.
FOLLOWING – a chronological list of posts from accounts you follow. (This was Instagram’s original style of feed, and they changed it clear back in 2016 to the dang algo controlled feed – a la Facebook – and users have long requested IG bring back chrono).
FAVORITES – posts from select accounts you especially want to see. (Facebook has had this feature for a long time: previously called ‘See First’ then changed to ‘Favorites.’ FB limits this to 30 people/pages. Likely IG will follow suit. We’ll see. Personally, I’m most excited about this new feed!!)
The changes are “already out or going out over the next few weeks” according to Instagram Head, Adam Mosseri. The company plans to roll out a finalized version of the chronological feed options in the first half of 2022.
What do you think? Which feed will you use most often?
