Spring Quiche Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Asparagus
  • Bacon
  • Onion
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Eggs
  • Cream
  • Asiago Cheese

For a fresh and light spring delight, try this spring quiche recipe. It will not disappoint. Start with cooking the bacon. Use this simple cooking hack by cutting raw bacon into strips with scissors. This makes it easier, and faster to cook. Save the grease! Put the cooked bacon on the side, and add cut asparagus and onion to the bacon grease, and saute. In another bowl mix up about 8-10 eggs, 2 TBSP of dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and a splash of cream. Use your egg beater, and beat until dijon is fully incorporated. Next take your pie crust, and put the asparagus, bacon, onion, shredded asiago cheese mixture evenly into the crust. Pour your egg mixture on top. Use 5-6 whole asparagus spears and drape across the top of the quiche before you cook it. Bake at 400 degrees for about 50-60 minutes, or until the middle is not jiggly anymore. Let it rest for about 15 minutes before you serve, so that everything sets properly. Serve with a side salad and ENJOY!
