2021: Who is Setting Plans for the 4th of July Bash?

Plans are already in motion for parades and fireworks in some cities. In a normal year, you could probably find about two dozen different Fourth of July parades or firework shows, but some events have had to cancel festivities, either because permits and in some instances, safety concerns about gatherings.
For now, here’s who is setting plans for a Fourth of July bash.
Yuba City 4th of July Spectacular
4th of July Spectacular! We hope you can join us for a phenomenal 4th of July celebration! The gates to Beckwourth Riverfront Park will open at 4:30 pm on Sunday, July 4th, 2021.

Elk Grove Salute to the Red, White & Blue
With a reopening of California planned for June 15, the city of Elk Grove announced its fireworks show has been given the green light. The show will be an in-person fireworks show at Elk Grove Park.

Annual Fourth of July Family Blast in Placerville
El Dorado County Fair CEO Jody Gray told ABC10 that plans are in place for their Fourth of July celebration on July 4. However, she noted that some factors for the celebration depend on what happens after the state reopens on June 15 and approvals for Alcoholic Beverage Control and firework permits.

Roseville 4th of July Parade
According to the city website, the Roseville 4th of July Parade is a go, and they’re calling on people to “come out for the return of the Independence Day parade” for 2021.

Modesto’s Independence Day Parade
Savanah Williams, media chairman for the parade, confirmed with ABC10 that the annual event will be happening this year. However, there will be a slight difference specific to the number of parade entries. Normally, the parade has around 200 entries, but this year, Williams said it’ll be scaled back to 75.
The downtown parade is set to take place around 9:30 a.m. on July 3.

Stockton 4th of July Parade
Linda Vasquez, of the Stockton 4th of July Parade, told ABC10 that their celebration will once again be in person. This is a change from earlier plans for a virtual event. The parade is expected to start at 10 a.m. on July 4th at the Stockton Civic Memorial Auditorium.

July 4th Day in the Park Celebration in Tracy
The Tracy Chamber of Commerce has set its calendar for a July Fourth celebration in Lincoln Park. An inquiry to the chamber was not immediately returned, however, they shared a Facebook event on their social media page regarding the celebration.

Lincoln 4th of July Celebration
In a video, the Lincoln 4th of July Celebration Facebook page announced it is moving forward with the event, including the morning parade and fireworks at McBean Park.

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July
Shelly Blanchard, executive director for the Cordova Community Council, said plans are in motion for a July 4 bash, but like many others, they’re waiting on a few more approvals before saying the event is a done deal.
Current plans are for a parade, fireworks and concert show for July 3 through July 4. A few changes will included requirements for advance ticket purchases and caps on attendance. Blanchard said they’ll limiting the show to about 10,000 people each day, roughly have of what they get on July 4.

Auburn 4th of July Parade
Jackie Weston, executive director for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, said the 4th of July celebration has all the greenlights they need for the bash.
That being said, this year’s event will be scaled back to some degree. Specifically, she said there are no plans for live music and that people shouldn’t expect as many vendors as in previous years.

Star Spangled Sparks

Location: Victorian Avenue, Sparks, NV.
Time: 4:00pm-10:00pm / Fireworks at 9:45pm
Cost: Free
Join the Nugget and downtown Sparks for a block party on Victorian Avenue. Food trucks, vendors, arts and crafts and music! Fireworks will start at 9:45pm (weather permitting).
Limited parking. Free park and ride shuttle. Shuttle will pick up in two locations: The Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center Parking Lot at 1350 N. Wells Avenue in Reno and 510 Greenbrae Drive at the corner of Greenbrae Drive and 4th Street in Sparks.

Reno Aces
Date: July 4th
Location: Greater Nevada Field, Reno, NV
Time: 6:30pm
Cost: $18-$75. Purchase tickets ahead of time
Reno Aces are on the road but the stadium is still ready to celebrate! Join in on family fun, games, food and more! Fireworks and live music including Jackson Michelson as its headline performer.

American Salute July 4th Celebration
Date: July 4th
Location: Wingfield Park, Reno, NV.
Time: 7:30-10:00pm (doors open at 5pm)
In conjunction with Reno Artown, enjoy the 4th in downtown Reno at Wingfield Park. This is a free event. There will be music and the fireworks will be at dusk!

Nevada State Railroad Museum
Date: July 4th – July 7th
Location: Carson City, NV
Time: 9:45am – 4:00pm
Celebrate the 4th of July with the Nevada State Railroad Museum. Each morning at 9:45am enjoy the parade of trains. Then from 10:40am-4:00pm visitors can ride in one of the operating trains.

Kings Beach Fireworks & Beach Party
Fourth of July revelers will have the opportunity to start celebrating the holiday a day early. The July 3rd Fireworks display in Kings Beach continues to be one of the most popular in the region, and a holiday tradition among locals and visitors to North Lake Tahoe. This year, the festivities will include activities for attendees to enjoy and participate in during the late afternoon and into the evening in celebration of Independence Day.
