Pound Cake Chocolate Fondue

The perfect pound cake for your fondue party complimented with the a delicious pound cake.


For Bread Bowl

  • 2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 1 pound cake


  • Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-proof bowl. In a small pot over medium heat, heat heavy cream, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until simmering.
  • Pour cream over chocolate and let sit 5 minutes then whisk until smooth.
  • Leaving a ½” border, hollow out middle of the pound cake, careful to not cut through the bottom. Cut removed pieces of pound cake into bite size pieces.
  • Pour ganache into hollowed out pound cake and serve with reserved pound cake and desired dippers.
