Maintaining Communication with Past Clients
– Crystal Vagnier – Select Group – Writer/Editor
It’s that time where we reflect on the years events and reach out to those that are important to us. As a Realtor®, your clients are your business. Nobody wants to become an annoyance, but there are ways to maintain contact with former clients that are appreciated and warranted. Luckily, the Select Group Marketing Team has many resources available that will help you remain current in your client’s life. Become a Forever Realtor® and friend for your clients and not just another real estate agent.
Newsletters. The digital newsletter, Life & Real Estate, is designed to go out to your SOI’s once a month and is created to look as if it’s coming directly from you. With current news articles about real estate, neighborhood happenings, safety tips, and recipes, a newsletter sends a friendly reminder to your clients that you are available and approachable.
Just Sold & Just Listed Cards. Staying top-of-mind is easy when clients and neighbors are seeing first-hand the work you’re doing. With a variety of options for Just Sold and Just Listed postcards on Xpressdocs, you can really wow your clients with your transactions.
Referrals. There’s nothing like receiving a referral from a past client. It is ideal to reach out to your past client to express your gratitude. A simple phone call, handwritten letter, or email will go a long way in reminding your client that they were correct in recommending you.
Client-Appreciation Events. This is the perfect opportunity to bring all your clients together. Big party or small get-together, an opportunity to express your appreciation to your clients while also partaking in a fun activity or good food is one of the best ways to remind your clients how much you value them and their business.
It’s never too late or too early to remind your past clients that you’re thinking of them. Staying connected is important and considerate. If you have any questions relating to how to best market to your clients, contact the Select Group Marketing Team at marketing@selectgroupre.com.
